Along September and October we have been refreshing all the basic vocabulary that we learned in 1st of Infant through a daily routine with mini-teachers who help us:
Colours: red, blue, yellow, green.
Numbers: 1-5
Days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Weather: sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, rainbow
Shapes: circle, triangle, square
But in our English classes we ALWAYS want to do "MORE AND BETTER" (as our school motto says), so we are giving a step forward adding new words to the previous list:
Colours: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, pink, brown.
Numbers: 1-5
Days of the week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Weather: sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, rainbow, windy.
Shapes: circle, triangle, square, diamond, oval, rectangle, star, heart.
Seasons: spring, summer, autumn, winter.
Feelings: happy, sad, angry, sleepy, hungry, surprised.
Opposites: big-small, dirty-clean.
Dear families,
Throughout the second term we have learned lots of English words and some useful phrases, as well as we have sung many songs and talked in English in our Daily Routine. We have listened to the stories about Daisy and Robin´s adventures, so we have swept into exciting worlds, fuelled by their imagination.
